Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Palo Alto, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

This is my favorite Thai food place of all time. The pad see ew is amazing, and the green curry and papaya salad are awesome. It's so freaking good.

Beware if you sit in the corner table near the window. You are easily ignored by the wait staff. Tom Yum pot for $19 was a bit high, I feel like a fairer price wouldβve been $15 but thatβs Palo Alto for ya. The green curry was so diluted, it wasnβt even green anymore! If I didnβt look closely, I wouldβve thought Iβd ordered yellow curry. It also didnβt taste like much. The peas, carrots and bell peppers were small, but the eggplant pieces were so large! It was a jarring eating experience. We will not be back.

The Green Curry was so flavorful and perfectly spiced. We also had the BBQ chicken, the ribs, and the Pad Thai. They were all delicious! My husband orders the coconut to drink/eat and it was an actual coconut π₯₯. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. We'll be going back!

One of the best Thai places in the South Bay! The cashew and papaya salad are just out of this world! Tom Kha soup and the drunken noodles are must tries too. Finally the mango with sticky rice seals the deal! The service is timely and the ambiance is good. The portion size could be a bit better. But will definitely return!

Overall really bad food. We ordered Singapore noodles. This is nothing like the dish. Itβs brown and wet/gooey. Should be heavy on yellow curry and not wet. We also ordered Mongolian beef. The beef was tough and sparse. The dish was mostly wet onions. Will not order again and will not recommend. We ordered for takeout. Had we dined in, we would have sent the food back and left for a better restaurant. Unfortunately we are stuck with bad food at home.

Got the Friend got pad see ew! Appetizer of golden eggplant with a sweet chili sauce. Very lightly fried, good texture and density to the eggplant. Red bamboo curry with chicken and jasmine coconut rice. Great flavors, not too spicy, wish there had been more food in general for the price ($17). Down side was you had to pay $4 extra for the rice and was told itβd have more of a sweet rich flavor/texture but it tasted very ordinary. Friend got pad see ew which she gets every single time! Quick service and delightful flirty atmosphere.

We stopped by for dinner here which happened to coincide with their Happy Hour! I had Red Curry with Rice and an order of the Veggie Egg Rolls. My guest ordered a soup and Chicken Noodles. I liked the spices of my dish but the rice was too soggy with too much sauce in the serving dish. Would like to come back and try their specials next time specially since they have food selection of good IPAs at the bar.
